The Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app for Windows may have discontinued support for PDF portfolios.
Windows Mobile users may be able to view our daily prayer PDFs.
Kindle Keyboard (v 3.3)
Subscribers can download eBreviary's smaller weekly zip files to a PC/Mac and then send each zip in an email to the subscriber's firstname.lastname@example.org.
The PDFs are easy to read in landscape. If the email has "convert" in the subject line, the PDFs are converted to Kindle format and are easy to read in portrait.
Kindle Fire HD
The generic "Silk" web browser FAILS with secure pages and PDF downloads.
The Opera browser works but is not available in the Kindle Appstore.
Solution #1: using
cloud delivery services
With Adobe Cloud Services and Mobile Link, open a portfolio on a PC/Mac and it will be available in the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app (available in App store) on the Kindle Fire.
Solution #2: using the Opera software store
From the Kindle Appstore, install the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app.
With the Kindle, touch More > Device > Allow Installation of Applications > On.
With the Kindle web browser visit apps.opera.com .
Choose Opera browser (not Opera mini) while viewing software for Android smartphones and Download.
Switch to Downloads, touch Opera download, and install.
Using the Opera web browser, visit ebreviary.com to touch the link to today's prayers or the weekly prayers PDF portfolio, and open with Adobe Acrobat.
